emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, oversaw the oath-taking of 35 newly appointed judges to the Dubai Courts. The ceremony was held at Al Mudaif Majlis in Union House, Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the judges and wished them success, stressing the vital role of an independent judiciary in safeguarding rights and ensuring social stability. He underscored that judges are central to enforcing the rule of law, delivering justice, and advancing national progress, noting that fair judgments foster a society built on justice, trust, and prosperity.

The new judges expressed appreciation for the confidence placed in them and pledged to uphold the principles of justice and the rule of law.

The event was attended by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of the Dubai Ruler’s Court and Deputy Chairman of the Judicial Council; Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts; and Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council.
