UAE wins silver at Jet Ski World Championship in Hungary

emirates7 - Emirati junior rider Ali Al Ali marked a significant achievement on Monday by claiming second place and winning the silver medal in the Jet Ski World Championship (Ski Junior 3.3 category), hosted in Győrzámoly, Hungary.

At just 13 years old, Ali earned a total of 64 points across three fiercely contested rounds, finishing just behind Estonia’s Ander Hubert Lauri, who took first place. Hungary’s Lajos Komonyi secured third, while Maxime Arthebise of France placed fourth.

Ali expressed his pride in representing the UAE on the global stage and thanked the UAE Marine Sports Federation for its continuous support and dedication to nurturing young athletes.

This championship in Hungary is one of the recognized events on the International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) calendar. It plays a key role in preparing junior competitors for advancement to elite global competitions, including the prestigious World Finals held annually in the United States.
