emirates7 - Turkey's annual consumer inflation dropped more than anticipated in July, reaching 33.52 percent, according to official figures released on Monday.
The Turkish Statistical Institute reported that monthly inflation stood at 2.06 percent, coming in below expectations. In comparison, June saw a 1.37 percent monthly increase and a 35.05 percent annual rate.
Meanwhile, the domestic producer price index (D-PPI) climbed 1.73 percent on a monthly basis in July, marking a year-on-year increase of 24.19 percent.
