emirates7 - South Korea's industrial output and retail sales rose in June compared to the previous month, according to data released on Thursday.

Statistics Korea reported a 1.2 percent increase in industrial production, marking the second straight month of expansion.

As per Yonhap News Agency, retail sales—which reflect consumer spending—climbed by 0.5 percent in June from the previous month.

Meanwhile, facility investment dropped by 3.7 percent month-on-month.
