Ghitha Holding reports AED2.61 billion revenue for H1 2025

emirates7 - Ghitha Holding PJSC, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), has reported its consolidated financial performance for the first half of 2025, showing notable growth in both revenue and gross profit.

For the six-month period ending 30 June 2025, the Group recorded revenues of AED 2.61 billion, reflecting a 6.7% increase compared to the same period last year. Gross profit surged by 23% year-on-year to AED 599.4 million, highlighting the success of Ghitha’s shift toward a margin-focused growth strategy.

Commenting on the results, CEO Falal Ameen stated, “These strong half-year results underscore the effectiveness of our strategic focus on profitable expansion, disciplined integration, and delivering value. Growth was fuelled by a blend of internal margin improvements and strategic acquisitions.”

He added, “We’re continuing to optimise our customer and distribution channels by prioritising high-margin sectors, pricing discipline, and top-performing segments—an approach that has consistently enhanced our profitability and long-term resilience. The launch of the SAP S/4HANA programme during this period is another milestone, upgrading our digital infrastructure to support future scalability and food security objectives.”

In line with its broader goal to expand within the food industry, Ghitha has strengthened its core segments through strategic mergers and acquisitions. In H1 2025, its subsidiary Al Ain Farms completed the acquisition of Al Jazira Poultry Farm, a prominent UAE poultry producer. This follows the prior acquisition of Arabian Farms, further solidifying Ghitha’s footprint in the protein segment and reinforcing its commitment to scaling essential categories in the national food supply chain.

Looking ahead, Ghitha plans to sustain its momentum by accelerating operational improvements and deepening value chain integration. With ongoing digital transformation and a strong pipeline of acquisitions, the Group is positioned for scalable growth while contributing to the resilience of the UAE’s food ecosystem in line with national goals.
