Dubai and Abu Dhabi temperatures soar above 40°C

emirates7 - The UAE continues to face intense heat, with soaring temperatures creating hazardous conditions across the country. According to AccuWeather, Dubai is expected to reach a scorching 41°C today under clear, sunny skies. While temperatures will ease slightly to 33°C tonight, the air will remain hot and dry. Currently, the city is experiencing 35°C, but the real-feel temperature has climbed to 37°C, making outdoor activities particularly unsafe.

In Abu Dhabi, conditions are even more extreme. The capital is forecast to hit 42°C today with mostly sunny skies, while nighttime temperatures are expected to to 32°C amid hazy conditions. At present, the temperature sits at 33°C, though the real-feel has risen to 42°C, significantly increasing heat-related risks.

Health officials are urging the public to avoid outdoor exposure, stay well-hydrated, and limit activities during the hottest parts of the day to prevent heatstroke and dehydration.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) indicates that the weather will stay mostly clear to partly cloudy, with cloud buildup possible in the eastern and northern areas. Humidity levels are forecast to rise overnight and into Thursday morning, particularly along coastal regions. Winds will range from light to moderate, with occasional strengthening during the day. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
