This new initiative aims to support family-owned businesses by giving them streamlined access to specialised consulting services across various administrative and operational domains.
The directory connects family businesses with a network of 56 vetted advisors. These professionals are divided into two categories: those with extensive hands-on experience working with family businesses, and certified consultants who have completed the Certified Family Business Advisor (CFBA) and Certified Family Wealth Advisor (CFWA) programmes, delivered in partnership with the Family Firm Institute (FFI).
Businesses can use the directory to find advisors with expertise in areas such as governance development (for both family and corporate structures), business restructuring, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, mediation, and commercial conflict resolution.
Each listing in the directory includes a detailed profile outlining the advisor’s qualifications, certifications, specialisations, and direct contact details.
Launched in 2023, the Family Business Advisor Certification Programme—developed jointly with FFI, a global authority on family enterprises—offers professional credentials to advisors aiming to enhance the long-term success and competitiveness of family-owned businesses.
This collaboration also provides family businesses with access to a wide array of resources and publications, along with the opportunity to join FFI’s Global Education Network (GEN) certification programmes, including CFBA and CFWA.
Through these programmes, participants gain advanced skills to deliver more effective support to family enterprise clients.
