emirates7 - The UAE’s national parachuting team secured six medals at the FAI World Style and Accuracy Landing Championship, which wrapped up yesterday in Ravenna, Italy, featuring elite parachutists and skydivers from around the globe.
Abdulbari Qubaisi earned four medals, including a gold in the "Accuracy" event and three silvers in the overall standings, "Distance," and "Freestyle" categories. His impressive showing included perfect scores in the first two rounds, earning him 291 points and second place overall.
Teammate Cornelia Mihai added two more medals to the tally, claiming silver in the "Speed" event and bronze in "Freestyle."
Mohammed Yousuf Abdul Rahman, Secretary-General of the Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF), commended the team’s exceptional achievements and expressed gratitude to the Skydive Dubai team for their crucial support during the preparation phase.
