NMDC Energy H1 net profit rises 16% to AED583 million

emirates7 - NMDC Energy has announced robust financial results for the first half of 2025, reflecting consistent growth and effective strategic execution.

In the first six months of 2025, the company recorded a 41% year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching AED 8.2 billion, while net profit rose by 16% to AED 583 million compared to the same period in 2024.

The company secured new contracts worth AED 13.9 billion during H1 2025, bringing its project backlog to AED 49.9 billion by the end of June. Its total project pipeline stood at AED 66 billion at the close of Q2, aligning with its long-term growth strategy and expanding market opportunities.

In the second quarter alone, NMDC Energy reported a 21% year-on-year rise in revenue to AED 4.4 billion and a 12% increase in net profit to AED 366 million. This performance was driven by sustained momentum across its core engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and industrial operations.

A key milestone for the quarter was the full operational launch of NMDC Energy’s 400,000 square metre fabrication yard in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. This state-of-the-art facility enhances the company’s offshore EPC and modular construction capabilities, bolstering both current operations and future growth prospects.

Chairman Mohamed Hamad Almehairi stated, “This quarter’s progress underscores NMDC Energy’s central role in advancing industrial capabilities across the region, as we remain focused on strategic growth and future-ready initiatives. These collaborations lay the groundwork for sustainable value creation and regional self-reliance.”

CEO Eng. Ahmed Salem Al Dhaheri added, “We are enhancing precision and scale in our operations. From expanding our fabrication footprint to activating one of the region’s most advanced yards, we are positioning ourselves to take on increasingly complex EPC projects more efficiently and at larger scale.”

Strengthening its strategic ties with Aramco, NMDC Energy secured a three-year extension to its Long-Term Agreement (LTA), with an option for an additional three years. This extension reinforces the company’s role in supporting Aramco’s offshore developments and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s economic vision.

Additionally, NMDC Energy was honoured with the ICV Excellence Award in the Semi-Governmental Manufacturers category at MIITE. The award recognises the company’s AED 17 billion reinvestment into the UAE economy through support for local SMEs, suppliers, and workforce development initiatives.
