emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the financial budget for Al Qasimia University (AQU) for the 2025–2026 academic year.
As part of this initiative, His Highness also approved 500 scholarships for male and female students from various countries who have been admitted to the university’s colleges and programmes for the first semester of the upcoming academic year.
This financial allocation reflects ongoing support for AQU and its mission to provide quality higher education to students from around the world. The budget is designed to an inclusive and dynamic academic environment, with funding directed toward academic programmes, educational infrastructure, scientific research development, and community engagement.
Scholarship recipients have been accepted into several of the university’s colleges, including the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Arts and Humanities, College of Economics and Management, College of Communication, and College of the Holy Quran.
Currently, Al Qasimia University is home to students representing 133 nationalities.
