emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) has entered a strategic partnership with the UAE-India Business Council–UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC) through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing youth entrepreneurship, leadership development, and innovation throughout Abu Dhabi and beyond.
The agreement cements both parties’ mutual commitment to fostering inclusive educational and economic opportunities. Valid until July 2028, the MoU includes a scheduled strategic review at the end of the term to assess outcomes and explore future collaboration.
Under the agreement, a multi-year roadmap of joint initiatives will be implemented. At the heart of the partnership is a rich schedule of impactful events—including conferences, workshops, and seminars—focused on nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and leadership capabilities among young professionals in the region.
These initiatives will bring together influential speakers and experts from the UAE, India, and global innovation centers, offering students and early-career entrepreneurs access to top-tier knowledge and international best practices.
Additionally, the partnership will develop and deliver professional training programs in areas such as innovation management, digital transformation, sustainable business, and ethical leadership. These offerings are designed to equip participants with practical, future-oriented skills while reinforcing ADSM’s status as a leading business education institution in the Gulf.
A major feature of the collaboration will be the creation of a structured mentorship platform that links ADSM students and alumni with experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, and experts affiliated with UIBC-UC.
The partnership also includes joint research projects that will explore topics such as youth entrepreneurship, the changing role of SMEs in regional economies, and international innovation ecosystems. Both institutions will co-author reports and white papers aimed at informing policymakers and investors.
Furthermore, ADSM will act as a key academic partner in UIBC-UC-led programs, lending faculty expertise and research capabilities to support business roundtables, summits, and policy discussions.
UIBC-UC has also pledged to help ADSM establish connections with universities, research institutions, and incubators in India, further strengthening the growing educational and innovation ties between the two countries.
Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of ADSM’s Board, remarked that the partnership highlights ADSM’s ongoing dedication to nurturing talent and driving positive regional impact.
Faizal Kottikollon, Chairman of UIBC-UC, emphasized that the collaboration sets the stage for a new generation of leaders who will drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and cooperation between the UAE and India.
The MoU reflects a timely and strategic alignment between academia and industry, underscoring a shared vision for regional growth and deeper UAE–India collaboration in education, innovation, and economic development.
