Emirati folk arts captivate audience at Beijing International Book Fair

emirates7 - The United Arab Emirates House pavilion is attracting significant attention at the 31st Beijing International Book Fair, offering visitors a rich experience of Emirati heritage through cultural and traditional exhibits.

As part of the fair’s events, the Al Ayala band delivered live performances that highlighted the richness of Emirati folk arts and Arab traditions, creating a welcoming environment of cultural exchange.

These activities are designed to spark interest in Emirati literature, heritage, and culture, supporting the broader mission of the UAE pavilion at the fair.

The pavilion features a wide range of publications aimed at enhancing cooperation with China’s publishing sector and fostering new opportunities for collaboration across cultural and creative industries.

This initiative highlights the importance of intellectual and literary exchange, as well as traditional arts, in building intercultural dialogue and deepening mutual understanding.

The fair, hosted at the China National Convention Centre, opened yesterday and will run until June 22.
