ERC signs agreement to supply Eid sacrificial meat in Yemen's Hadhramaut

emirates7 - The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has entered into an agreement with a prominent commercial company in Al Mukalla to supply sacrificial meat as part of its Eid al-Adha program to assist disadvantaged families in Hadhramaut Governorate.

This initiative seeks to alleviate financial difficulties and bring happiness to families during the religious holiday, highlighting ERC’s continuous dedication to aiding vulnerable groups.

At the signing event, Hamid Rashid Al Shamsi, Advisor for Development and International Cooperation and ERC’s representative in Hadhramaut, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to the success of the project.

He emphasized that the initiative reflects ERC’s fundamental values and aims to reinforce social solidarity. He noted that it will provide comfort and joy to hundreds of families, embodying the UAE’s enduring tradition of generosity and compassion, especially during Eid al-Adha.

ERC teams will distribute the sacrificial meat throughout Hadhramaut’s districts, prioritizing families in need, including orphans, low-income households, and people of determination.

This initiative is part of ERC’s ongoing humanitarian and relief activities in the governorate, focused on enhancing living conditions and promoting the spirit of giving and unity within the community.
