Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, resulting in an agreement to facilitate the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates. This aid is intended to meet the food needs of around 15,000 civilians in the Gaza Strip during the initial phase.
The initiative also includes essential support for bakery operations in the area, as well as critical supplies for infant care, with plans for ongoing deliveries to ensure continued assistance for civilians.
During the call, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of guaranteeing the rapid, safe, sustainable, and unobstructed delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In addition, the two ministers reviewed regional and international efforts to restore a humanitarian truce, achieve a ceasefire, and secure the release of hostages.
