This year, the prestigious title of “Distinguished Educational Personality” was awarded to H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, in recognition of his impactful efforts in advancing education both within the UAE and on the international stage.

A total of 48 individuals and institutions from various countries were honoured, including three Emirati families who received the “Distinguished Emirati Family” award for their notable support in their children’s educational journeys.

Among the international recipients were participants from the United States, France, Morocco, and other nations, who were recognised under the newly launched “Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field.” This global initiative celebrates exemplary practices in early childhood education and development.

The award’s General Secretariat will host an official ceremony on May 29 at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed. The event will bring together key figures in education, academia, and policymaking from the UAE and abroad.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan—Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, and Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council and the Board of Trustees of the Erth Zayed Philanthropies—to solidify education as a foundational pillar in the UAE’s growth and progress.
