SBA participates in World News Media Conference 2025 in Poland

emirates7 - The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) recently participated in the 76th World News Media Congress, held in Krakow, Poland, from May 4 to 6.

Representing SBA were Director Salem Ali Al Ghaithi; Faisal Ali Al Hammadi, head of Digital Media; Khalid Ahmed Al Zarouni, Director of the News Center; and Saeed Ahmed Bou Ghazin, responsible for News Exchange.

During the congress, the SBA delegation took part in a range of workshops and panel discussions focused on the evolving landscape of digital media. Key topics included the challenges confronting independent journalism and strategies for improving digital content. The team also networked with global media organizations to explore potential collaborations.

Al Ghaithi emphasized the value of participating in top-tier global media events to gain insights from successful international practices. He noted, "This conference offers us an opportunity to stay current with the latest developments in news media, which is vital for our TV, radio, and digital platforms. It also supports Sharjah’s cultural mission through informed media efforts."
