emirates7 - A student from RAK Academy Al Hamra has won first place in the 2025 Challenge ME Maths Championship, one of the Middle East’s premier academic contests, which took place from April 18 to 20 at the Swiss International School in Dubai.

The championship drew participation from over 40,000 students representing more than 100 schools across the region. Nine students from RAK Academy Al Hamra reached the finals, where they competed in three challenging rounds — Quest, Odyssey, and Adventure — designed to assess skills in mental arithmetic, logical thinking, and complex problem-solving.

Grade 3 student Jenna emerged as the winner in her category, proudly taking home the top trophy.

"Being among the final nine out of over 42,000 contestants is a remarkable feat," said Graham Beale, Executive Principal of RAK Academy Al Hamra. "Having one of our students win the overall title is incredibly uplifting."

As one of Ras Al Khaimah’s top educational institutions, RAK Academy highlighted that this victory underscores its dedication to academic excellence and its commitment to giving students access to enriching, high-level competitive experiences.

“This achievement is the result of our students’ dedication, the unwavering support from their families, and the hard work of our teaching staff,” added Karolina Jankowska, Head of School.
