emirates7 - The Ajman Department of Tourism Development successfully concluded the 2nd edition of the Masfout Trail Run 2022, with a huge participation of almost 300 runners from professionals, amateurs, and enthusiasts. The event reinforces the emirate’s leading position as an international tourist destination capable of organising and hosting such important events.

The race’s categories were divided between an Emirati category and an open category, for all ages and genders, and for a distance of 8 km trailing between a picturesque nature in one of Ajman’s most mountainous areas.

The Masfout Trail Run 2022 witnessed a distinguished participation from athletes and different segments of the society, who expressed their gratitude to the Ajman Department of Tourism Development for organising such prominent social events that encourage the whole community to interact together, engage more, adopt an active lifestyle, and increase the awareness on the importance of sports in maintaining a healthy mind and body.

The race, which takes place in the mountains of Masfout in the emirate of Ajman, is considered as one of the major sports events organised by the Ajman Tourism to shed light on the emirate’s natural beauty suitable for sports tourism, and promote its position as a leading local and international tourism destination.
