emirates7 - Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, held a meeting with a European parliamentary delegation headed by David McAllister, Chair of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee.

Discussions focused on shared interests and the deep-rooted ties of friendship and collaboration between the UAE and the European Union, along with prospects for strengthening these relations.

The two sides also exchanged perspectives on recent regional developments and key international issues.

Also present at the meeting were Mohammed Ismail Al Sahlawi, UAE Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the EU, as well as Lucie Berger, the EU Ambassador to the UAE.
