UAE participates in 3rd GCC Investment Committee Meeting

emirates7 - The Ministry of Investment, represented by Mohammad Abdulrahman Alhawi, Undersecretary at the Ministry, took part in the third Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Investment Committee Meeting held on Sunday in Kuwait.

The meeting gathered Undersecretaries from the GCC Ministries of Investment to discuss aligning investment strategies and enhancing the region's appeal to global investors, given the growing range of investment opportunities in the area.

The discussions focused on the shared goal of improving coordination and standardizing legislative and regulatory frameworks to bolster the GCC’s position as a competitive global investment hub.

Alhawi emphasized, “The UAE remains committed to working closely with its GCC partners to explore new avenues for joint investment promotion, drive sustainable growth, and increase the region’s global competitiveness. As the GCC strengthens its ability to attract international investments, deepening economic integration is crucial to building a resilient and future-ready investment ecosystem across the region.”
