Our aim is to establish this as a world-class event within the next five years.”

Lieutenant Colonel Salah Al Mazrouei, Director of the K9 Security Inspection Unit, emphasized the critical role that police dogs play in ensuring public safety. “K9 units are essential partners in a range of complex missions and rescue operations, both locally and internationally,” he noted. “This event will enhance our unit’s capabilities while creating opportunities to connect with global experts, explore innovative technologies, and benefit from international best practices.”

He also underscored the show’s community-oriented approach. “In addition to the professional focus, we’ve included plenty of activities for dog lovers, educational sessions, and interactive experiences,” Al Mazrouei said. “The event is open for public registration and is designed to be family-friendly. There will be competitions with cash prizes in categories like best breed and live performance showcases.”

The will welcome more than 30 international exhibitors, including specialists in dog breeding, training, and animal care. It will also involve key stakeholders from both public and private sectors, along with dog clubs, wellness centers, training institutions, and relevant organizations. A major goal of the event is to raise awareness about the essential role of dog training in not just security but also healthcare and everyday life.

To further engage the public, the event will feature an interactive zone for families and pet owners, offering a dynamic environment for learning, bonding, and fun.
