emirates7 - Kesari 2, starring Akshay Kumar, is one of the most highly anticipated films of the month. On Saturday, actor Rana Daggubati, who acquired the Telugu rights for the film, watched the historical courtroom drama before its release and praised it highly.

The second chapter of Kesari will focus on the untold story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The first film, released in 2019, depicted the events leading to the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers fought against 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen in 1897. Parineeti Chopra had a significant role in the first chapter.

In Kesari 2, Akshay Kumar will portray the legendary lawyer C Sankaran Nair. The film, which also features R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday, is set to release on April 18.
