Arab Parliament Speaker urges clear, strong stance on Gaza genocide

emirates7 - Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause has consistently enjoyed steadfast backing from the Non-Aligned Movement since its formation, driven by a shared commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people—chief among them, the right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Speaking at the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, Al Yamahi called for a strong and united stance against the ongoing genocidal war and brutal atrocities committed by the occupying force against Palestinians. He also urged the rejection of any efforts or schemes aimed at displacing Palestinians from their ancestral land.

These comments were part of Al Yamahi’s address at the 4th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, alongside the Inter-Parliamentary Union meetings.

Al Yamahi strongly criticized the international community and its institutions for their failure to protect populations subjected to daily violence and extermination.

He emphasized the critical need to uphold and implement international law and the resolutions of global legitimacy equally and without discrimination across all nations.
