International Charity Organisation's projects reach AED165 million during Ramadan

emirates7 - The International Charity Organisation has announced the successful conclusion of its 2025 Ramadan campaign, with the total value of its projects reaching AED 165 million across 23 countries.

Key highlights of the campaign include the distribution of 315,000 Iftar meals to severely impoverished areas and the delivery of 22,000 food parcels to more than 450 underprivileged villages worldwide to facilitate Iftar.

In the UAE, the organisation also provided 300,000 Iftar meals, 3,500 Ramadan food baskets, and 80,000 Fitra (Zakat al-Fitr) contributions to assist struggling families.

In addition to food aid, the campaign contributed to the construction of 258 mosques, financed the drilling of 1,000 water wells in water-scarce regions, and supported 60,000 orphans. Other charitable activities included providing medical care and equipment, helping with debt relief, and funding income-generating projects for families.

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasized that surpassing the campaign's goals reflects strong community involvement and underscores the UAE's commitment to improving the lives of the most vulnerable globally.

He expressed his gratitude to the generous donors and the dedicated teams of the International Charity Organisation for their exceptional efforts during the Ramadan campaign, noting that the spirit of giving demonstrated this year will form the basis for future initiatives.
