Sharjah National Oil Corporation to host HSE EXPO 2025 on April 16

emirates7 - The Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) is set to host HSE EXPO 2025 on 16–17 April at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. The event will unite industry leaders, regulators, and specialists with the goal of enhancing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across sectors.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmad Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Petroleum Department, and President of SNOC, the two-day forum aims to encourage industry-wide progress by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of effective solutions that benefit businesses and the wider community.

Amid shifting regulatory landscapes and growing environmental and safety demands, the expo will encourage companies to move beyond mere compliance and adopt a proactive leadership mindset in HSE practices.

Hatem Al Mosa, CEO of SNOC, remarked, “Ineffective HSE practices can have devastating consequences—not only for individuals but also for businesses, communities, and the environment. Driving a true cultural transformation in safety requires education, ongoing commitment, and collaboration across industries.”

The expo will gather decision-makers, HSE professionals, and sustainability champions to chart a forward-thinking approach to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.

The event is supported by key organisations including the Government of Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Health Authority, University Hospital Sharjah, and several UAE universities.

Attendees can expect an engaging lineup of keynote speeches, panel discussions, practical workshops, and live demonstrations focused on essential topics such as emergency preparedness, hazard mitigation, and sustainable practices.

Experts will also provide detailed updates on Sharjah’s HSE regulatory landscape, helping organisations stay compliant while embracing new, innovative safety solutions.

A highlight of the event will be the Innovation Hub and exhibition, showcasing state-of-the-art technologies in risk management, occupational health, and environmental safety, offering attendees hands-on exposure to tools and strategies they can deploy within their organisations.
