China sees more active e-commerce logistics in March

emirates7 - China's e-commerce logistics sector saw increased activity in March, with the overall index rising to 110 points, marking a 1.1-point month-on-month increase, as reported by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing on Tuesday.

According to China Central Television (CCTV), the sub-index for total business volume in e-commerce logistics grew by 3.5 points from February, reaching 126.8 in March. Notably, the western regions played a significant role in driving this overall growth.

The sub-index for rural business volume also saw a notable rise, increasing by 5.3 points month-on-month to 125.7 in March, with the central regions leading the charge with a 6.3-point growth.

The e-commerce logistics market also registered a surge in instant retail deliveries, catering to people's urgent and everyday consumption needs, with a rapid growth in the number of instant delivery orders.
