Figures from the Bank of Korea (BOK) showed the country posted a surplus of US$7.18 billion in February, up from $2.94 billion in January.
As reported by Yonhap News Agency, South Korea has consistently posted a current account surplus every month since May 2023.
For 2024, the nation's cumulative current account surplus reached $99.04 billion, a significant rise compared to the $32.82 billion surplus recorded in the previous year, the BOK added.
