emirates7 - Etihad Airways has enhanced its presence in Russia by increasing capacity on its Abu Dhabi-Moscow route, offering more travel options between the Middle East and Russia.
Starting from 1st October, the airline will introduce a third daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO), bringing the total to 21 flights per week. The new service will be operated with an Airbus A320, featuring 8 Business Class and 150 Economy seats.
In addition to the increased Moscow service, Etihad is planning to expand its network further with a new route to Sochi, Russia’s premier resort on the Black Sea coast, starting on 29 May 2025.
The additional flights to Moscow will provide better connections for Russian travelers to Etihad’s growing global network, especially to popular destinations in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The triple-daily flights are designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers, with flexible departure times throughout the day.
