29,000 companies operating in trading, services sector join Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2024

emirates7 - A recent analysis by Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, revealed that 29,000 new companies in the trading and services sector became members in 2024.

This surge underscores the sector’s crucial role in Dubai’s economic diversification.

The construction sector also experienced notable growth, with 7,434 new companies joining in 2024—a 33% increase compared to the previous year.

In the real estate, renting, and business services sector, 23,204 new companies registered with the chamber, marking an annual growth rate of 8.4%. Similarly, the transport, storage, and communication sector saw the addition of 5,901 new companies, reflecting an 8.3% increase over 2023.

The financial intermediation sector also expanded, with 1,830 new businesses joining, representing an 8.3% growth rate.

Overall, Dubai Chamber of Commerce welcomed 70,500 new companies in 2024, further solidifying Dubai’s reputation as a premier global investment destination with outstanding competitive advantages for businesses worldwide.
