Dubai to host first-ever International Sports & Entertainment Free Zone cluster

emirates7 - Dubai World Trade Centre has announced the launch of the International Sports & Entertainment Free Zone, marking the UAE's first dedicated business hub for sports and entertainment within the Free Zone framework.

According to DWTC, the zone will serve as a specialized business hub, offering licensing services for various sports and entertainment activities. It aims to foster a collaborative ecosystem to support and drive the growth of the industry.

The Free Zone will provide a consolidated platform for licensing businesses in well-established sectors such as sports management, marketing, event management, talent representation, media, and broadcasting, while also nurturing emerging fields like e-sports, AI-powered sports technology, and fan tokens.

The zone is set to attract a wide range of industry players, including global brands, sports leagues, franchises, rights holders, investors, sports and talent agencies, artists, media personalities, social media influencers, and professionals from creative industries.
