AD Ports Group signs 50-year land lease agreement with Al Ain Mills for grains storage facility

emirates7 - AD Ports Group has entered into a 50-year land lease agreement with Al Ain Mills, a subsidiary of Al Hazaa Investment Group, to establish a cutting-edge grain storage and processing facility at Khalifa Port’s South Quay. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance the port’s infrastructure and further solidify its role as a key regional trade hub.

Spanning 50,000 square meters, the facility will have a storage capacity of approximately 300,000 metric tons and is expected to become operational within two and a half years after construction begins. Situated in a prime location within Khalifa Port, the leased site will provide Al Ain Mills with direct access to deep-water berths and the port’s world-class facilities. This development is set to significantly improve grain storage and handling efficiency, meeting the rising demand for premium grain products across the GCC and beyond.

Commenting on the agreement, Saif Al Mazrouei, CEO of Ports Cluster at AD Ports Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “We are pleased to welcome Al Ain Mills to Khalifa Port.
