This collaboration, facilitated by the league's strategic partner, IMG, marks a significant milestone in Euroleague Basketball’s efforts to expand into new global markets.
The decision to bring the Final Four to Abu Dhabi is part of Euroleague Basketball's strategy to enter new markets while building on its 25-year history of success.
Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Undersecretary of DCT Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement about Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a hub for basketball in the Middle East, saying, “We are thrilled to host Euroleague Basketball in the emirate and the region for the first time. As a center for sporting excellence, Abu Dhabi will offer fans a world-class experience at Etihad Arena, along with a wide range of attractions and experiences in addition to the games.”

The event will be Euroleague Basketball's second venture into the Middle East, following the successful Adidas NextGen Tournament Qualifier in Dubai last season.
Etihad Arena will host the four top teams of the season, with semifinals scheduled for Friday, 23rd May, at 7 pm and 10 pm local time. The third-place and championship games will take place on Sunday, 25th May, at 6 pm and 9 pm local time.
