emirates7 - The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Foundation (Ruwad), a subsidiary of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, has completed preparations for its first-ever "Ruwad Pop-Up" festival.
This event, showcasing 25 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) run by Emirati entrepreneurs, is set to take place at Al Mamsha in Muweileh Commercial from January 23 to January 26.
Fatima Al Ali, Acting Director of Ruwad, emphasized the foundation's dedication to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sharjah. By organizing community and promotional initiatives, Ruwad aims to highlight exceptional national businesses owned and managed by Emiratis.
Al Ali described the “Ruwad Pop-Up” festival as an innovative program designed to support the foundation’s members. It provides subsidized spaces for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services spanning various industries.
The festival is geared towards boosting sales, enhancing revenues, and strengthening the market competitiveness of participating projects. It also facilitates opportunities for networking and collaboration among the involved businesses.
Among the 25 featured projects, there will be nine from the food sector, two focused on entertainment, and 14 commercial ventures representing a wide range of activities and industries.
