TRENDS participates in Davos in Switzerland

emirates7 - TRENDS Research & Advisory is actively participating in this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, which is being held under the theme Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.

The five-day forum brings together over 3,000 influential leaders from 130 countries. During the event, the TRENDS team will contribute to panel discussions, establish research partnerships, and unveil new publications.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, stated that the organization’s involvement in the forum underscores its position as a leading think tank dedicated to addressing global challenges through forward-looking studies and innovative solutions.

He emphasized TRENDS’ ongoing commitment to spreading knowledge and fostering the principles of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence. He noted that the centre’s academic research and collaborative initiatives play a vital role in shaping strategic perspectives that aid global decision-making processes.

During the forum, TRENDS will debut its latest study, The Future of Renewable Energy: Financing Challenges and Prosperity Opportunities. The study’s launch will include a panel discussion addressing the financial obstacles and opportunities within the renewable energy sector.

As part of its efforts to enhance its European presence, TRENDS will also inaugurate a new office in Switzerland, marking its 18th global branch. This expansion aims to broaden the centre’s research network and strengthen knowledge partnerships across the continent.

Additionally, TRENDS will introduce a new publication series, Artificial Intelligence Trends. The inaugural issue, The AI Technology Race and Great Power Rivalry, will be the focal point of a panel discussion examining the implications of AI advancements on global politics and the economy.

The organization will also present a research paper during a discussion titled 'The Economics of Peace in the Middle East and the Global Arena'. This session will explore innovative strategies for conflict prevention and sustainable peacebuilding.

Dr. Al-Ali highlighted that TRENDS’ continued participation in Davos for a second consecutive year reflects its dedication to driving global progress and sustainable development through intellectual leadership and forward-thinking initiatives.
