emirates7 - Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the largest relief initiative in Gaza, launched its most extensive phase this morning.
This phase focuses on aiding the largest concentration of displaced individuals in southern Gaza, near Al-Aqsa University in Khan Yunis. Approximately 9,500 displaced persons, currently living in shelters and temporary tents across Gaza, are expected to benefit from the efforts carried out today.
Hamad Al Neyadi, Head of the UAE Relief Mission, emphasized that this campaign is part of the UAE’s ongoing commitment to supporting the people of Gaza. He noted that the pace of the operation will accelerate further with the implementation of the truce agreement.
Al Neyadi also shared that upcoming efforts will include critical repairs to water pipelines and sewage systems, along with support for bakeries and soup kitchens to ensure food security for displaced individuals and those returning to their homes.
He highlighted that this humanitarian initiative aligns with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is dedicated to easing the suffering of Gaza’s residents and addressing their urgent needs amid the ongoing crisis.
