emirates7 - President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defence, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

During their discussion, Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. They extended their best wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity.

In response, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his regards to the Saudi King and Crown Prince, wishing the Kingdom ongoing advancement and prosperity under their leadership.

The leaders reviewed the strong and historic ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation across various sectors to support mutual interests and fulfill their nations' aspirations for growth and prosperity.

They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East, discussing regional and international issues of mutual concern and emphasizing the need to bolster efforts to ensure regional peace, security, and stability.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
