Emirates introduces additional flights to Colombo

emirates7 - Emirates airline is set to launch an additional scheduled service between Colombo and Dubai, beginning on 2nd January 2025.

The new flight, designated as EK654/655, will boost seat capacity on the route by 30% and aligns with Sri Lanka’s efforts to significantly increase tourist arrivals in 2025.

Operating six days a week until 31st March 2025, EK654 will depart from Dubai International Airport (DXB) daily except on Wednesdays. Starting 1st April 2025, a seventh weekly flight will be introduced, operating on Wednesdays.

The additional service will accommodate up to 360 passengers, offering eight First Class suites, 42 Business Class seats, and 310 Economy Class seats.

Emirates has been serving Sri Lanka since April 1986 and has transported over 12 million passengers to and from Colombo since the inception of its operations.
