Chaired by Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the meeting brought together representatives from various local and federal government entities focused on strengthening the nation's food safety framework.

“Food safety is a cornerstone of the National Food Security Strategy 2051,” Al Nuaimi stated. “The UAE enforces stringent international food safety standards, essential for safeguarding public health. With robust collaboration among local authorities, the nation is equipped to develop innovative approaches that ensure food safety throughout the entire food value chain, encompassing both local production and imports.”
