Globe Soccer Dubai Awards announces first ticketed event

emirates7 - For the first time in its history, the Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards, supported by the Dubai Sports Council, is offering the public a chance to attend. A total of 200 exclusive premium tickets will be available for fans to join the prestigious event at Atlantis, The Palm on 27th December, alongside some of the biggest names in football.

Now in its 15th edition, the annual awards ceremony has previously attracted stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappe, among others.

Two types of ticket packages are available: 150 Platinum Tickets and 50 Winners Circle Tickets, with 10% of the proceeds being donated to the UAE-based Al Jalila Foundation.

As in previous years, the 2024 awards will be held alongside the 19th Dubai International Sports Conference, organized by the Dubai Sports Council, both emphasizing Dubai's role as a global leader in sports innovation and thought leadership.

The Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards has garnered significant global attention, with over 100 million votes cast by fans from more than 200 countries, surpassing the previous record of 70 million. Additionally, the Globe Soccer mobile app has achieved over two million downloads, showcasing the event's global reach.

Public voting, which closed on 10th December, helped determine the finalists in several categories, including Best Men's Player, Best Men's Club, Emerging Player, and Best Coach, alongside input from Globe Soccer’s Official Jury.

Among the top contenders for Best Men's Player are Erling Haaland, Rodri, Vinícius Júnior, Ronaldo, Messi, and Mbappe. Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are competing for the Best Men's Club award. Lamine Yamal and Cole Palmer are leading the Emerging Player category, while Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti are among the candidates for Best Coach.

The Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards will be broadcast internationally, allowing fans around the world to experience the event live.
