emirates7 - The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) is participating in the Jordan pavilion activities at Expo 2020 Dubai, on the occasion of the Travel and Connectivity Week from January 9 to 15.
JTB's participation included an exhibition of traditional Jordanian clothes, where 12 pieces, representing 12 governorates, were displayed in front of the green screen.
JTB's Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat stressed the importance of Expo 2020 Dubai and JTB's participation in the Travel and Connectivity Week.
Technologies in the pavilion were used to support Jordan's tourism, he said, noting that the Jordanian pavilion also houses a traditional food display.
The pavilion also included musical shows by the Military Retired Band and the Al Hussein Musical Band, Arabiyat added, noting that JTB will organize a contest where visitors can win a free flight, overnight stay included, to Jordan.
Arabiyat said the pavilion's schedule includes holding a press conference in the presence of Tourism and Antiquities Minister Nayef Fayez, where tourism marketing, tourism national strategy and tourism identity will be tackled.
