emirates7 - The organizing committee for the 26th Gulf Cup football tournament has confirmed that the training stadiums for the event, set to take place in Kuwait from December 21st to January 3rd, are ready for use.
Tariq al-Kandari, an official from the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) and a member of the tournament's higher organizing committee, stated that the official matches will be held at the Jaber and Jaber Al-Mubarak stadiums, both of which are fully prepared for the competition. He emphasized that all maintenance work has been completed and highlighted that the Jaber Al-Mubarak stadium is one of the most modern, designed to meet European standards.
Additionally, security, transportation, and emergency plans have been put in place for the event.
The tournament will feature two groups: Group A, consisting of Qatar, host nation Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman, and Group B, which includes Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen.
