emirates7 - As part of the "UAE stands with Lebanon" campaign launched by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and following instructions from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to ensure the continuity of education in Lebanon, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), has directed the provision of 40,000 school bags to support the initiative.
This effort is part of the UAE’s broader mission to enhance education and offer assistance to the Lebanese people, especially in light of the challenges facing Lebanon’s education sector.
Omar Sultan AlOlama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of the Digital School’s Board of Directors, emphasized the UAE’s continued efforts to follow the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed in strengthening the nation’s humanitarian role.
