emirates7 - Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance during Diljit Dosanjh's ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour in Birmingham, just six months after Diljit had invited him to perform in Punjabi at his concert in Mumbai.

On Monday morning, both artists shared a lively Instagram Reel showcasing the moment when Diljit, dressed in an all-white outfit, enthusiastically announced Ed's arrival with a shout of, "Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye! [Ed Sheeran is here]." The audience responded with applause as Sheeran took the stage in a casual black T-shirt and dark grey track pants, playing his hit song "The Shape of You."

In an exciting collaboration, Diljit joined Ed for a mashup of "The Shape of You" and his own song "Naina" from the newly released Bollywood heist comedy "Crew."

Viewers on Instagram expressed their enthusiasm, with one commenting, "It was an incredible show! The energy was electric," while another wrote, "You made our evening so special; my little nephew loved the show. What a surprise when Ed came out! You smashed it; may you always be blessed."
