World’s oldest man celebrates 112th birthday
emirates7 - John Alfred Tinniswood, who was born the same year the Titanic sank and when New Mexico and Arizona became US states, has just celebrated his 112th birthday.

Born on August 26, 1912, Tinniswood is now recognized as the world’s oldest living man. He celebrated this milestone with friends and family at his care home in Southport, a seaside town in western England, according to Guinness World Records (GWR).

In anticipation of his birthday, Tinniswood shared with GWR that he doesn’t feel any different turning 112, remarking, "I don’t feel that age, I don’t get excited over it. That’s probably why I’ve reached it. I just take it in my stride like anything else," as stated in a news release on Sunday.
