'Al-Jundi' journal’s new issue highlights important events of Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces
emirates7 - Al-Jundi journal issued by the UAE Ministry of Defence has published issue No. 583 for August to highlight the most important events and news related to the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces.

Through its latest issue, published in both Arabic and English, the journal - using research and analysis - touched on several vital topics.

Under the title "The Armed Forces Excellence and Innovation Award", Al-Jundi said in its editorial, "Through a clear strategy, the UAE's wise leadership established a reliable approach to excellence and innovation, rooted in keeping up with the aspirations of the next fifty years in various fields, especially regarding the armed forces, founded on a culture of innovation and excellence."

The Ministry of Defence - honouring of a group of officers, non-commissioned officers, civilians, soldiers, retirees, and national service recruits from various disciplines, who won the awards in the 4th cycle of the Armed Forces Excellence and Innovation Award, - aims to honour and motivate outstanding performance and encourage positive competition.

The new issue of "Al-Jundi" touches on the most prominent political, military, and security events, weapon news, as well as scientific and technological developments achieved by modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in the military field.

The journal devoted its main section of the August issue to discussing "The Strategic Implications of the China - Solomon Islands security agreement".

In its "Studies and Analysis" section, Al-Jundi offered a study titled: "High precision weapons: A great destructive force armies are racing to acquire", in addition to another study titled: "Disarmament and Arms control".

Al-Jundi also included an interview with Anna-Karin Rosen, Managing Director - Saab in UAE, where she spoke about the company's fields of work, its products, investments, and latest projects in the Middle East, the Arab Gulf region in general, and the UAE in particular.

The journal dedicated sections for the opinions and analyses of elite Emirati and Arab writers discussing various issues and matters of interest to readers.

Founded in 1973, Al Jundi's first issue was published in October, covering the news and activities of the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces; through a set of distinguished writers and experts in defence and security from around the world, Al-Jundi publishes studies, research, reports, and specialised military files, dealing with research and analysis many vital issues and topics of interest for its followers in the UAE, the Arab region and the world.
