Cooler air, cloudy skies and chances of rain in coming days

emirates7 - The UAE is expected to experience a stretch of unsettled weather this week due to the impact of a surface low-pressure system moving in from the east, supported by an upper-air trough.

Monday:
Conditions will be partly to occasionally cloudy, especially over northern and eastern areas, with the possibility of light rain. Temperatures are set to cool slightly, while humidity will increase overnight into Tuesday morning, raising the risk of fog or mist in coastal and inland regions. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally strengthening during the day, and both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will remain calm.

Tuesday:
The weather will stay partly to mostly cloudy, with convective clouds forming in eastern areas during the afternoon. Humidity will rise again overnight, bringing another chance of fog or mist in western regions. Winds from the southeast to northeast will blow at 10–25 km/h, occasionally reaching 40 km/h.

Wednesday:
Similar conditions are expected, with convective clouds developing east and west that could produce showers in the afternoon. Overnight humidity may once again trigger fog in the west. Southeasterly to northeasterly winds will remain light to moderate, picking up to 40 km/h at times, while the seas stay generally calm.

Thursday:
Forecasts call for fair to partly cloudy skies, with cloud buildups possible in the east during the afternoon. The night will turn humid, extending into Friday morning. Winds will range between 10 and 25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to 35 km/h, with calm seas in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Friday:
The end of the week will be largely fair to partly cloudy, with clouds gathering in the east later in the day. Overnight humidity is expected to increase once more, potentially leading to mist in western regions by Saturday morning. Southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times. Seas will remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
