Temperatures to hit 49°C; partly cloudy skies

emirates7 - UAE residents can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times on Monday as an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by an upper-air low-pressure system, influences weather conditions across the country.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), temperatures will remain extremely hot, reaching 44°C to 49°C in inland areas, while coastal and island regions can expect highs between 40°C and 45°C. Mountainous areas will see maximum temperatures ranging from 33°C to 38°C.

Night-time temperatures are forecast to range between 26°C and 31°C inland, 29°C to 33°C along the coast, and 25°C to 30°C in the mountains.

Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northwest at 10–25km/h, with gusts reaching up to 35km/h at times. Humidity is expected to reach 65–85% in coastal and island areas, 50–70% inland, and 65–85% in the mountains, particularly during the night and early morning.

Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
