Paris Orly Airport operations normalise after major technical fault

emirates7 - Operations at Paris Orly Airport were fully restored by Monday evening after a major technical issue caused significant disruptions.

The French Ministry of Transport and the DGAC (aviation authority) confirmed that normal operations have resumed, with the entire flight schedule expected to be reinstated by Tuesday.

The issue started on Sunday afternoon due to a malfunction in the control system, prompting officials to limit air traffic and significantly cut the number of flights.

Consequently, 40% of flights were cancelled on Sunday, followed by 15% on Monday. In addition to cancellations, many passengers experienced delays.
