The Tianhui-7 satellite, launched aboard a Long March-4B rocket, has entered its planned orbit, according to the centre.
It will be primarily used for tasks such as geographic mapping, land resource surveys, and scientific research.
This launch also marked the 622nd mission in the Long March rocket series.
