emirates7 - UAE’s Salem Abdulrahman continued his fine form at the 2025 FIDE World Chess Cup in Goa, India, securing a thrilling victory with the black pieces over American Grandmaster Abhimanyu Mishra.

The win qualified Abdulrahman for the Round of 64, among more than 200 international players competing for prize money exceeding US$2 million.

The tournament runs until 27 November.
